College offers free tuition for all its students

How would you like to go to a private liberal arts college that will give you a full-ride tuition scholarship for four years? Sounds crazy? Actually, I’m serious. Antioch College in Yellow Spring, Ohio, is waiving the tuition for all its students, who enroll in the next three years. How much are these freebies worth? The value of the free tuition for the current year is $26,500. The scholarship, based on that price, makes each scholarship worth at least $106,000. Some students, who file financial aid applications, will capture an even greater price break. If they qualify, they may get to skip the room and board charges or pay a reduced price. Antioch’s room

AAU Meet 1/29/12 – EMU – For Entire Mustang Team
24 JanFor our first AAU Meet 1/29/12 @ EMU, there will be a quick parent meeting on Tues at 6pm for the girls & Wednesday at 6pm for the boys. This meeting is to inform & prepare everyone on what to expect out of this meet.
This meet is for the entire team – the older kids can use this meet to practice on a true track (Hurdles, Long Jump, High Jump, Block work, Etc.). We will not practice Sunday 1/29/12 @ Lawrence Tech, practice will be @ Eastern Mich.Univ.

THIS MEET IS CO-ED.
DOORS OPEN AT 6:00 – NO ONE ADMITED EARLIER!
UM AND MITS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT OR INJURY.
THE MEET SHUTS DOWN AT 10:45 PM EVEN IF WE ARE NOT FINISHED WITH ALL EVENTS.
THE BUILDING MUST BE VACATED AT 11:00 PM
EVERYONE PAYS $5.00 AT THE DOOR

Field Events – Begin at 6:30 – except Pole Vault – see notes below.
WOMENS SHOT PUT – followed by Men WOMENS HIGH JUMP – followed by Men
LONG JUMP – two pits – Men & Women will jump simultaneously.
HAMMER THROW to follow the Men’s Shot only if we can begin by 9:30 pm.
TRIPLE JUMP to follow the Long Jump only if we can begin by 9:30 pm.
WE WILL HAVE TWO POLE VAULT PITS OPERATIONAL FOR THIS MEET.
WARMUPS FOR BOTH GENDERS WILL BE ONLY FROM 6:00 – 6:45. VAULT STARTS AT 6:45.
Vault will end as we approach the witching hour of 11:00 regardless of whether or not we are done.
Track Events – Begin at 6:30 – events will roll quickly in this order.
EVEN Year 2012 – Men run first!
1600 Meter Run
200 Meter Dash
(we will box slower heats)
800 Meter Run
60 Meter Hurdles – Timed Finals
60 Meter Dash – Timed Finals
400 Meter Run
(we will box slower heats)
3200 Meter Run
(maximum one heat each gender)

PARKING AT UM MEETS!
YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED TO PARK BUT PARKING IS VERY LIMITED IN THE LOT BY
THE TRACK. UM WILL GIVE FREE PARKING IN THE SC-7 LOT BY CRISLER ARENA ONCE
THE TRACK LOT IS FULL. IF YOU ARE ARRIVING LATER, YOU CAN DROP OFF
ATHLETES AND THEN GO PARK AND WALK BACK TO THE TRACK. HERE IS A LINK
