Former MI. Mustangs Women’s track athlete Sydney Sterling named the Oakland Univ. Student-Athlete of the Week

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Former MI. Mustangs Women’s track athlete Sydney Sterling has been named the Oakland Univ. Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of April 13-19, after setting a school record at the Gibson Invitational over the weekend.

Sterling, a sophomore from Farmington, Mich., set the school record in the 400m dash, breaking her own record, with a time of 56.70. Her time ranks third in the Horizon League.
